Easter Eggs Ministry

For over 30 years First Presbyterian Church has been famous for its chocolate covered peanut butter and coconut Easter Eggs. For eight weeks a volunteer crew of church members and friends from throughout the community gather to mix, mold, dip and wrap eggs.
Throughout the years the community has supported the church’s egg ministry in many ways. Various businesses have helped by displaying and selling the eggs. Other community members come and work diligently along with our members.
We thank all of those who have had some part in making this a successful ministry. Each of you are important to us – if you helped make, helped sell, bought or simply gave moral support – you are appreciated.
Each year First Presbyterian Egg Ministry has offered financial support to various charities and endeavors in the community. In the past year we have provided support to: Next Step Ministries, Kernersville Schools (Student Needs), Kernersville Branch Library (Children’s Books), Crisis Control Ministry, Kernersville Fire Department (Safety Seat Program), Kernersville Police Department (Shop with A Cop), Kernersville Police Department (Camp for Kids), The Shepherd’s Center, and Appalachian State University Academy at Middle Fork.
