Presbyterian Gad Abouts (PGAs)

The Presbyterian GadAbouts is a fellowship group of about 40 men and women who meet once a month for lunch and a time of sharing.  Most of the PGA members participate in the annual Easter Egg project.  But working on Eggs or being a member of First Presbyterian Church is not a requirement to attend.

Ladies Bible Study Christmas Ministry

The Saturday Ladies Bible Study (SLBS) meet each Saturday morning at the home of Kitty Thach for fellowship, breakfast, and to study the Word of the Lord.  It has been their practice for each person to donate a dollar or two each week to their Christmas Ministry Fund.

Easter Eggs

First Presbyterian Church is famous for its chocolate covered peanut and coconut Easter Eggs.  Beginning in January 2016, under the guidance of Mrs. Faye Hodges, the Egg Crew produced approximately 76,000 eggs.

Holiday Market

Each year members and friends of the church come together to make craft items and baked goods which will be sold at the annual Holiday Market on the second Saturday of November.   An added attraction that morning is the pancake breakfast and the opportunity to buy raffle tickets on one or more special items.

Missions

Each year the youth and adults of First Presbyterian Church participate in a Missions project.   The majority of the funding for these Mission activities comes from hands on work efforts by the Mission Team that further spread the word.
